It is a legal requirement for Companies to provide suitable training for its employees when using Tower. The Construction (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1996, require that the installation or erection of Mobile Access Towers should only be undertaken by or under the supervision of a competent person. The Working At Heights Regulations 2005 affect employers, the self-employed and anyone who works at height where there is a risk of a fall, liable to cause personal injury. The HSE have produced an easy to read guide web-friendly guide, that clearly explains how to comply with the Working at Height Regulations 2005.
